Employer Culpability and Responsibility

The Employment Act of 2004 came into effect in October 2004 and places the responsibility firmly on the shoulders of the employer to ensure the welfare of every employee is considered.

Corporations, regardless of size, will need appropriate training and systems in place to deal with stress and anxiety in the working environment.

We live in a culture that is more for less and in the past twenty years we have noticed an increasing burden on individuals to perform at their best.

The Act seeks to ensure that employers are treating their staff with respect and affording them the opportunities to learn stress-busting techniques and strategies to combat the pressures put upon them within the workplace.
